Impostor Syndrome Course Video Two

This was my first experience working with a coach.Working with Amber for the last 6 weeks has led to some of the biggest realizations about myself and enabled me to identify opportunities to improve. I was consistently impressed by her insights and perspective. In 6 weeks I feel like I’ve made more progress in accomplishing my goals than the previous 2 years combined. It was incredible how she guided me to discover for myself what would make the biggest differences. I think what stands as most impressive, is my wife has seen noticeable growth and looks forward to my sessions each week.

Amber is an amazing coach and mentor that I've had the pleasure of working with for the past year. She quickly took me under her wing in a time when my career was in transition. She worked with me on a weekly basis to patiently listen to what was happening in my life, and provide frameworks for me to work through my struggles. She equipped me to be successful and I will carry the tools she gave me forward for myself, and those that I mentor in the future.

For the past three years, I was working in a job that caused extreme stress, anxiety, and self doubt. I knew I needed to find a new career in a different industry, but I felt lost and had zero confidence. After 5 sessions with Amber I was able to accomplish more than I had in one year on my own. Amber is more than just a motivator. She gives you models and techniques to work through tough situations and come to a resolution. In my situation, she not only had insights on potential careers, but she also helped grow my network. Through our sessions, Amber helped me recover my sense of self worth and helped me remember that out in this world, there is a team that can't wait to utilize my skills. The Manager Training sessions Amber leads have been absolutely invaluable to my growth as a leader, and continue to be my favorite meetings of the week. She's organized, very thorough, and always comes to the table with appropriate content I use with my teams the second I walk out of her trainings on a weekly basis. One of the things that makes her successful is her unique ability to facilitate meaningful and applicable discussions, and pull out important takeaways I can apply right away. She deserves a ton of credit for helping shape our Management Team Leads, which is no small task in the fast-paced, chaotic environment we work in!

Every new leader should be required to work with Amber in her coaching course! Her positive attitude and perfect attention to detail makes her a pleasure to work with and her mastery of redirecting negative conversations into useful ones is a sight to behold. After being promoted to a leadership position, I was going through the motions of holding one on ones and coaching employees but without any real backing on some proper theories and methods for doing these. Amber customized each one of our sessions to real problems facing our team and our organization and after our very first meeting, I started taking action from what she told me and seeing positive results in our office! I highly recommend Amber courses to everyone but especially to those of us in the tech startup world or anyone managing teams of millennials.
